Thank You for Helping Us Raise $103,580 for the Zabel Family!
100% of your donation went to impacting the Zabel Family:
On the afternoon of November 12th, life changed forever for the Zabel family and the world lost an incredible man. Rhett, a father of two beautiful girls and the beloved husband to Amber, was hanging Christmas lights when he fell causing a traumatic head injury that took his life too soon.
Rhett and Amber, residents of Farmington, MN, had been married for 18 years. They were blessed with two beautiful daughters Chloe (13 years old) and Claire (11 years old). Rhett was an active father, friend, and community member. He volunteered to coach the girls’ sports teams, was always there to help a friend out, and brought joy everywhere he went. He was a caring, humble, and funny man everyone loved to be around. One of his greatest gifts was walking into any situation and making things instantly better through his presence, words, and actions. It is our hope to be able to create some comfort for Amber and the girls, just like Rhett.
Rhett worked as a VP at Wells Fargo and was the majority income earner. Amber is a dedicated Special Education Preschool teacher where she positively impacts the lives of our youngest students. She is currently attending college, with one more year to finish and attain a degree that will allow her to continue teaching. With a loss such as this, there are many things Amber and the girls will be forced to grieve, evaluate, and change. It is our hope that with the money raised, they will be able to sustain life decisions that honor all that they were meant to be and do in this world…which is exactly what Rhett provided everyday of his life for his family of four.
